  1. Max – I agree that this is one of your strongest pieces. After attending to a few more things, please bring this back in and we’ll look at this together with the folding pattern in working order.

Suggestions: Please proof this carefully for some strange capitalization in the middle of your descriptions.

The placement of the prices seems inconsistent to me. Sometimes they sit on their own line by themselves below everything, and at other times they sit following the last word of the description. I suggest you find a way to handle them so that it is consistent for all items. Either sitting alone at the end, or embedded after the last word, or even sitting on the same line as the heading. You may need to add/delete some description words to facilitate this.

I also suggest a bit more space above the item names – so that the item names and descriptions unify together with a bit of extra negative space around them. Your lists seem to have some extra space at their bottoms, so this should not be a problem.

Specialty Pizza – wouldn’t the edge of the background under the last item “Steak and Cheese” be angled down rather than at a 90 degree angle to the sides? That’s what you have done to good effect elsewhere.

Build You Own – I wonder if these toppings could/should be in a 2 column list in that area?

The only bl/wh element is the cubist painting… and so lets make sure it prints a deep 4/c rich black. Also, have you paid close attention to its position on the page in relation to the diecut “reveal”? It’s really important that what we see on the cover is well-considered. So, don’t hesitate to use just a cropping of the painting on the inside – to facilitate the best areas of the painting to show through the cut out windows.

Brown dot in “Picasso”. I almost missed it. I’d be very interested to hear about the concept behind these floating dots on the inside of the menu. Some are hiding, some are not.

Can’t wait to see this next version.
