This is the choice and a draft of my own logo we have narrowed down in class before. The map needs adjustments, and I'm not too sure about the font or (s).
I like this, it's clever in all of its 3D-ness (is that a word?). I enjoy the way the N nested a bit inside the J. I'm noticing an inside area on the J that seems to be out of focus... yet the rest of the design is made of crisp, sharp edges. So, I wonder why this is a feathered, soft area? And, the word Design fits well with the font of the NJ, I think. I'm thinking it might be a bit large though. Have you considered a smaller pt size, tracked even more widely apart? Shadow... is it a bit dark? Lighter would be a safer choice, since it could easily darken in the printing process.
