Nick – Do you think the shadows on her cheek and nose are a bit dark? I do. Even her neck appears too dark. I would lighten those up, so she becomes a bit less harsh. As we age our shadows and facial features become sharper, but at that age – if you want her to look “cute” keep her facial shadows lighter. Her dress is great. As we talked about this in class, you will be removing the type and photo from this composition and possibly adding them to the page layout of the portfolio spread.
