Project 2- Historical Figure

  1. Max – Since this is a piece that highlights your compositing skills, lets make sure all the silhouetting is done to the best of your ability. Please review all the different pieces here and make sure their edges are refined and quite perfect. Some of the items, like the document on panel 1 and the book on panel 2, should probably be more perfectly rectangular before feathering them around their edges.

    Next – the heading. I see E=MC2 in the middle panel, and nothing at the top of the left panel, where we usually start reading. So, the reader could easily jump over the first panel, which I think establishes the historical concept with a young Albert. Would you consider adding a heading (like his name??) to the top of the first panel, and then revisit the styling of the “formula”? Currently it is overly bold, and sits “on top” of the artwork rather than as part of the art. Look at how you have integrated all the other pieces of the composition… this formula could/should appear to be part of the art… not separate from it. Make sense?

    The background behind all 3 panels is a good idea, unifying them.
